Job Purpose:
As data privacy SME/specialist, support Data Privacy Section head on implementation, consultation and assurance associated with PDPA, PDPA sub-regulations, data privacy related OIC notifications, AIA Group Data Privacy Standard, AIA Group Records Management Standard and other procedures and guidelines issued by AIAT Data Privacy Compliance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation to business process owner or project manager in relation to privacy risk and risk mitigation and review Data Privacy Impact Assessment.
- Work with other functions to conduct gap assessment, implement data privacy related regulations, guidelines and AIA policies.
- Manage data privacy incidents by verifying incidents, conducting risk assessment, reviewing and tracking remediations/mitigations, and report to the management.
- Provide consultation to and coordinate with other functions to handle data subject's right requests and complaints.
- Support Data Privacy Section Head to assess compliance with data privacy regulations and policies as well as validate privacy controls effectiveness.
- Support Data Privacy Section Head on regular update of Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
- Advise users and administer functionality of internal applications owned by data privacy team.
- Organize awareness programs and monitor staff completion on e-learning.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Head of Compliance and Data Privacy Section Head.
Qualifications:
- University graduate with business related degree, preferable with work experience in compliance or audit or risk consulting or legal
- Experience in Data Privacy or holding CIPP/E is an advantage
- At least 5 years of work experience (in financial institutions or insurance business is an advantage)
- Sound people and communication, and report-writing skills both in English and Thai languages
- Good problem-solving capability and ability to work independently and as a team
