Job Summary:
The Data Product role is responsible for translating business needs into data‑driven products and insights. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and Data teams to ensure the delivery of high‑quality dashboards, analytics, and data solutions that enable fast, informed decision‑making and continuous product improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct data inquiries and exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and data quality issues.
- Design and deliver business dashboards that provide actionable insights and support rapid decision‑making.
- Understand Data Science models and define measurable performance metrics to evaluate model effectiveness.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders, address concerns, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for Data teams.
- Elicit, document, and manage requirements and user stories, providing a clear product vision and roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and prioritize product features aligned with business objectives and data engineering capabilities.
- Consult with business teams to understand current and future needs, assessing feasibility and value.
- Act as the primary liaison between business and Data teams, clarifying requirements, resolving issues, and advising on key decisions.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement of data products, including investigating and resolving data issues.
- Operate within an Agile environment by refining priorities, defining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
- Own and prioritize sprint backlogs for assigned products, balancing stakeholder needs and delivery capacity.
- Lead the functional design of data products based on a deep understanding of users, data, and technology.
Qualifications:
- Education – Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering)
- Experience
– At least 5 years of Project management experience
– At least 5 years of Business Analysis experience
- Special skills – Python, Azure services, PowerBI , SQLserver
- Insurance Industry knowledge is an advantage
