Data Quality Specialist

Job Purpose:

You will be part of Data Governance department in the Strategy and Digital office that is responsible for manging data quality activities for AIA Thailand. This position will play a critical role to establish data ownership and data quality management best practices to ensure quality in the data across AIA Thailand.

Role Summary:

The Data Quality professional is responsible for defining, monitoring, and improving data quality across the organization. This role ensures that data is accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable to support business decisions, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Translate Business data context into Data quality measurement

Partner closely with Data Stewards, Data Owners, and IT teams to transform business requirements into data quality rules and actionable data quality measurement.

• Drive Insight Through Data Investigation

Lead deep-dive data analysis to uncover root causes of data quality issues and remediation strategies that deliver tangible business impact.

• Data Quality Champion

Manage and energize Data Governance Working Groups (DGWG), driving continuous monitoring, accountability, and resolution of data quality issues across key stakeholder groups.

• Influence & Engage Stakeholders

Build strong, trusted relationships across business and technology teams ensuring data consistently meets the evolving needs and expectations of stakeholders.

• Drive Continuous Improvement

Ensuring ongoing monitoring and full alignment with enterprise Data Governance standards. Take ownership of additional strategic initiatives and projects as assigned, contributing to the ongoing evolution of data governance maturity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of related working experience
• Bachelor's degree any related fields
• Stakeholder management and communication
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to translate business requirements into data rules
• Critical thinking and root cause analysis
• Communication - Business English Proficiency (both verbal and written)

Experience with Databricks (is a plus).
