Data Scientist (DA Lead)

I am partnering with a leading internet company to hire a Data Scientist with a strong focus on data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis to support business decision-making and generate strategic insights.

• Develop a deep understanding of community, commercialization, and e-commerce businesses, and deliver in-depth analyses that drive product and strategy improvements.

• Build and enhance business data systems and data-driven applications.

• Establish robust measurement frameworks and solve complex problems related to business performance, attribution, and impact assessment.

• Leverage industry data, market insights, and emerging trends to provide recommendations that support long-term business growth.

Requirements

• Degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in data science, business analytics, or strategic analysis within the internet, technology, or related industries.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Proficiency in AI tools and the ability to build end-to-end analytical workflows.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Chinese would be advantageous to support communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, clients, or markets where required.
