National ITMX (Interbank Transaction Management and Exchange) is a private company founded by cooperation of Thais Bank to create and provide the national core infrastructure electronics payment to support electronic commerce, payment systems and interbank transaction. We offer ranges of services such as PromptPay, Single and Bulk payment, ATM, Local switching, National Single Bank gateway, Card fraud monitoring & detections services, Cross border transactions and the national core infrastructure and network to supports all Thai banks for all interbank transactions
We are looking for Java Developer role is an integral part of the Payments Technology team within the Banking Solutions Technology organization. The individual will be part of team to develop our next generation of Payments and Transfers services.
Job Descriptions:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products.
- Plan and execute database migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Monitor database performance, apply patches, and upgrade versions as needed.
- Perform advanced database tuning and query optimization to enhance performance.
- Manage database storage, capacity planning, and ensure high availability of services.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, schemas, and configurations.
- Perform regular database backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and implement database solutions for applications.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and best practices.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans for database systems.
- Communicate effectively in English.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in database administrator or database management.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Obtained Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
- Comprehensive skill in configuring , performance tuning, and trouble shooting Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL), Unix (Linux, SUN,AIX, Oracle Linux) and Windows Operating System.
