Summary
FP&A Analyst is a key position in Celestica finance team. Holder of this role has the unique opportunity to control the whole segment of business with dedicated P/L and key B/S sheet items. FP&A analyst will work directly with operational management and commercial director as their business partner to support key decision making and provide business outlook in order to assure economic sustainability and profitability of the segment.
Detailed Description
- Act as finance business partner and provide overall finance supports to customer focus team (CFT)
- Work closely with customer focus team (CFT) on product pricing/costing for ongoing/new product introduction (NPI) feasibility study, ensuring realistic assumptions are applied and possible risk/opportunity are analyzed
- Review, analyze, customer level financial statements, provide detailed customer level financial analysis and deep dive financial bridging between actual and forecast.
- Take the lead of monthly customer level financial reviews with CFT
- Customer level close loop analysis between actual vs quotation
- Provide support to CFT and operation to drive cost productivity improvements
- Involve in customer level business process/flow design or changes
- Support continuous improvements of FP&A process efficiency and simplification.
- Maintains positive relationships with key internal and external customers who have a significant impact on the success of the organization
- Ad. Hoc assignments from FP&A manager or site controller
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Knowledge and understanding of forecasting, costing, managerial accounting, and investment analysis
- Familiarity with ERP system, SAP helpful
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently, willing to take position based on fact finding and logical reasoning, as well as provide unbiased recommendations
- Proactive and self-driven mentality
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both Thai and English languages
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers
Typical Education
- Typical Experience:
- 2 years overall experience in costing, FP&A/ business control, and/or feasibility study.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Experience in a Multi-national company is preferred
- Typical Education:
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineer, mathematics, or other analytical fields
