Demand Planning Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain the demand planning processes both short term and long term.
2. Own and lead the demand forecast monthly review for assigned products/market, ensuring its meet Commercial Business plans.
3. Lead root cause analysis in forecast discrepancy and apply solution to improve forecast quality.
4. To perform and execute demand forecast verification & challenge, review relevant market intelligence, forecast quality metrics review, and monitor supply chain parameter settings when required.
5. To support product lifecycle management including new product introduction (NPDs), transitions, and initiatives
6. Collaborate with supply planning (manufacturing facilities) to manage supply visibility.

Qualifications

• 5 - 7 years experience in supply chain related roles with minimum 3-4 years of hands-on demand planning experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting methods with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts.
• Ability to effectively break down complex data (quantitative and qualitative) into manageable pieces to be used in the forecasting process.
• International experiences with exposure working across different countries would be preferred.
• Has worked in an international matrix organization.
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Strong communications skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Proven track record of working across commercial and operation team.
• Experience contributing IBP/S&OP process is a plus
