Job Description
- Develop, gather, analyze and validate demand forecasts at multiple levels / channels and aggregate to get efficacious forecasting result
- Review with sale team historical sales trends, research, prepare forecast data, develop effective statistical forecast models and evaluate result
- Review sale & trade marketing plan, update or latest estimation on demand variable / driver
- Coordinate cross-functional information / activities to reconcile significant variances and refine forecasting model to reflect most updated sales and marketing assumptions
- Interact with sale, trade marketing, consumer marketing and commercial finance to understand demand forecast variable / driver
- Provide input to supply chain in developing inventory strategies on existing sku, core sku, NPD and promotional sku
- Facilitate and manage demand planning meeting / S&OP meeting
- Closely coordinate and communicate commercial action plans with supply chain
- Maintain demand planning system and software to be effective: product master hierarchy, monitor forecast result, identify competitive intelligence
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
- Perform other functions as assigned
