About Your Role

Purpose and Summary of Role

The Demand Planner is responsible for driving forecast accuracy, ensuring product availability, and aligning crossfunctional teams to deliver a consistent demand plan that supports business growth. This role partners closely with Sales, Trade, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to maintain service levels, reduce supply risk, and optimize inventory performance.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and continuously improve the maintenance forecasting tool, ensuring forecasting processes and systems are optimized for accuracy.
  • Validate and challenge sales forecasting inputs including new product, promotion, and topline forecast data from Sales, Trade, Marketing, and distributorsparticularly for longerterm planning.
  • Follow up closely on customer demand, analyze trends, and update supply information to ensure consistent product availability aligned with the sales forecast.
  • Generate rollingperiod demand plans, analyze demand vs. actual variances, monitor fulfillment gaps, and lead rootcause investigations to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure continuous alignment of sales forecast accuracy to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize outofstock risks; proactively identify and resolve emerging issues.
  • Actively participate in the S&OP process, including meetings on inventory levels, supply shortages, and other supply chain considerations affecting forecast accuracy.
  • Align inventory levels to meet customer service objectives; manage supply issues with customers and commercial teams.
  • Manage design changes or product transitions to minimize supply disruptions and reduce inventory writeoff exposure.
  • Support and help deliver forecasting tool training to new joiners (KAM / ASM / RSM / CS).
  • Generate weekly and monthly forecast accuracy metrics for business monitoring; analyze performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze inventory levels and recommend actions regarding excess or obsolete inventory to channel owners.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong technical competencies in; Demand forecasting/ Inventory management /Understanding of supply chain & logistics networks /Customerfocused planning
  • Strong negotiation skills, high attention to numerical detail, and effective facilitation/coordination skills.
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and external partners.
