Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and inputs from the sales team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, supply chain, and warehouse teams to align demand plans with overall business goals.
  • Utilize statistical forecasting techniques to improve forecast accuracy and identify anomalies or data inconsistencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate forecast performance regularly, adjusting plans to reflect shifts in market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Create and maintain demand planning reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and highlight risks or opportunities.
  • Lead and actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand and supply strategies.
  • Work closely with inventory and sales planning teams to optimize stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and prevent stockouts.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives within the demand planning function to increase operational efficiency.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices, tools, and methodologies in demand forecasting and planning.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure consistent and effective use of data for planning purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Experience with demand planning software such as SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Able to perform well under pressure and in time-sensitive situations.
  • Good English communication skills (TOEIC 550+ or equivalent).
  • Effective presentation and reporting skills.
