About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Department Manager – Accounting to oversee General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Budgeting. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions in our dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and control accounting operations covering GL, AR, AP, and taxation.
- Review, approve, and ensure the accuracy of accounting records and payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and departmental plans to align with company objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management for strategic decision-making.
- Strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance, and manage risks related to financial operations.
- Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Background in Retail or FMCG industry is a strong advantage.
- CPA or other professional certification is preferred.
