Key Responsibility:
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed IT project plans, schedules, and resource allocations aligned with retail business priorities.
- Monitor milestones and deliverables to ensure projects meet defined scope, quality, and timelines.
- Track and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple retail functions.
- Deliver clear and consistent project updates tailored for executives, store leaders, IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional business units.
- Prepare polished project presentations and reportseven under tight deadlines.
- Drive coordination between IT, store operations, logistics, merchandising, ecommerce, and external partners.
- Adapt plans and approaches quickly in response to seasonality, promotional cycles, and changing retail business needs.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and updated.
- Support major cutovers, golives, and seasonal retail events that may require long or unusual work hours.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 37 years of IT project management experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- Proven ability to develop and manage detailed project timelines and deliverables.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information for nontechnical retail stakeholders.
- Strong flexibility and responsiveness to dynamic business environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
- Ability to create executive-ready presentations quickly (PowerPoint or equivalent).
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Willingness to support extended or irregular work hours during critical retail operational periods (e.g., seasonal events, system cutovers).
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or related certification.
- Experience working with POS, ERP, OMS, WMS, ecommerce, or omnichannel retail systems.
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methods, and cloudbased retail solutions.
- Experience contributing to PMO standards and process improvements.
