Key Responsibility:
- Work with Category Technical Manager, Trading Manager , Product Managers (who own the range and Marketing Insight team to improve quality, through product development, product improvement, specification management and customer communication
- Develop proper manufacturing process to be ready for scale up in factory, including process at store and factory
- Prepare training pack and train coach to implement training in store
- Produce a product concept with accuracy and effectiveness to ensure that products is meet customer and market need by working with vendors, technologists and buyers on the key criteria of products
- Plan product development process and making product prototype /formulation/taste/Claims with customer satisfaction of House brand products
- Select innovative technology and process to suit functionality and customer needs
- Implement product development plan which delivers technical strategy and category plan
- Drive innovation and improvement in quality and execute NPD plan
- Being the guardians of the Tesco Brand integrity and reputation
- Deliver robust plan to provide product that exceed quality benchmark with customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in NPD or R&D
- Bachelor Degree (5-7 years in experience) or Master Degree (3 years in experience) in Food Technology, Food Science - Product Development, or related field such as Technology and Innovation Management
- Extensive NPD experience in Bakery and Dessert would be a BIG PLUS.
- Experience in New Product Development, Scale-up process to commercialize, Product Labelling Claim
- Co-ordinate with related parties such as Marketing, Buyer, and Technical team
- Knowledge: GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP (Hazard Analytical Critical Control Point)
- Have leadership, independent, like to learn about new technology
- Good command of English
