Job Description

Department Manager - Sales Management is responsible for leading the overall sales strategy and operations for the company's automotive business. This role oversees both current Dealership (in-house showroom) operations and future Distributorship expansion ensuring effective store management, high sales performance and seamless sales operations. The position requires strong leadership, commercial acumen and the ability to drive business growth through strategic planning, team management and market development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end sales strategies, policies and operational procedures across the company's automotive sales business including current Dealership (in-house showroom) operations and future Distributorship expansion
  • Direct Corporate Identity and Facilities Management to ensure all showrooms and future distributor locations strictly comply with the company's Branding Guidelines covering layout standards, visual identity, customer flow, signage and overall brand experience
  • Lead overall Store Management for company-owned showrooms ensuring excellent customer experience, operational efficiency and brand standards
  • Drive and Ensure sales performance to achieve monthly and annual targets
  • Develop, review and optimize commission schemes, incentive programs and performance-driven KPIs that support sales growth and business objectives
  • Oversee Sales Planning including forecasting, sales target allocation, pipeline management, pricing alignment and product launch readiness
  • Manage Sales Operations such as inventory coordination, test-drive processes, documentation accuracy and collaboration with marketing and after-sales teams
  • Identify, evaluate and build networks of potential partners for future Distributorship opportunities to support market expansion
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer insights to propose actions that strengthen sales performance and business competitiveness
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, sales standards and regulatory requirements related to automotive dealership operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Management or a related field
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in automotive sales, dealership operations or related commercial roles with at least 3 years in managerial/leadership level
  • Strong knowledge of automotive dealership processes, sales cycles and showroom operations (luxury or premium brand experience is a plus)
  • Proven track record in driving sales performance, managing sales teams and implementing incentive/commission programs
  • Solid understanding of sales planning, forecasting, pipeline management and sales operations workflows
  • Excellent leadership, communication and people-management skills with the ability to build high-performing sales teams
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, After-Sales, Finance and Dealer Network Development
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to support future expansion into a Distributorship model
  • Good command of English both spoken and written
