Deputy Head of Supply Chain and Logistics
The role is a key driver in turning that promise into everyday reality — keeping international inbound, distribution, store replenishment, e-commerce fulfilment and reverse logistics running reliably across Thailand's 60 stores, so that good value and good quality reach the many without interruption. The role carries a clear mandate to modernise the network through automation and data analytics while delivering cost-efficient, dependable service to every brand, every day.
Responsibilities:
Operations Leadership:
- Support the Head of Logistics in shaping supply chain strategy, network, capacity and systems roadmap for brand and market expansion, including new store openings and e-commerce growth.
- Manage day-to-day distribution centre and 3PL operations across markets: SLAs, capacity, productivity, quality and safety.
- Oversee international inbound (sea and air), customs clearance, trade compliance, duty optimisation, FTA utilisation and cross-border road freight across Southeast Asia.
- Direct outbound operations: store replenishment, new store openings and relocations, inter-market transfers, and launch/campaign logistics.
- Manage specialised handling requirements, including temperature-controlled logistics for confectionery/F&B and high-value security standards for luxury product.
- Own e-commerce and omni-channel fulfilment performance, including last-mile partners and peak readiness for mega-sale events (e.g. 11.11, 12.12).
- Run reverse logistics: customer returns, returns-to-vendor (RTV), defectives, and stock consolidation/exit programmes.
Commercial, Cost Management:
- Lead freight, 3PL and last-mile procurement: tenders, rate negotiations, contract and SLA management, and structured performance reviews.
- Support sourcing and procurement of goods and services for all brands and entities, balancing cost efficiency, quality, and ethical and sustainable sourcing.
- Ensure procurement compliance and accuracy of contracts, purchase orders and vendor records; drive savings through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.
- Co-own the logistics budget with the Head of Logistics and finance: cost-per-unit programmes, variance analysis and productivity initiatives.
Inventory, risk and compliance:
- Safeguard inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock takes and shrinkage controls, working closely with
- finance and retail operations.
- Use ageing, shrinkage and fast/slow-mover analysis to optimise stock levels, reduce holding costs and improve availability across fast-fashion and luxury assortments; lead stock rebalancing, consolidation and clearance planning based on data insights.
- Partner with finance on inventory budgets and cost control (holding cost, shrinkage and obsolescence); set inventory SOPs and governance standards that hold consistently across brands, stores and warehouses.
- Ensure import/export and product compliance across markets, including labelling, permits, insurance and claims management.
- Build resilience and business continuity plans across the network; anticipate and manage disruption proactively.
- Champion sustainability across the network: emissions measurement, packaging optimisation and greener transport choices.
Leadership:
- Support the Head of Logistics in leadership forums, principal and franchisor discussions, and cross-functional projects, acting as second-in-command with full accountability for supply chain performance in the Head's absence.
- Lead, coach and develop multi-market teams across the logistics, shipping, inventory and procurement functions; build individual development and succession plans for key roles; raise data and AI literacy across the function; set clear KPIs and performance routines.
- Collaborate with finance, retail and commercial, IT/MIS and brand teams — locally and internationally — to align supply chain delivery with business needs
