Job Summary:
Wealth Management has become one of the fastest-growing areas in the global financial industry due to the increasing number of high-net-worth population and hence demands for the service. Kiatnakin Phatra Securities is a leading onshore wealth manager with a total clients asset under advisory of over 900 billion baht.
Derivative Product Specialist is part of the Investment Solutions Department. The department provides expertise in customized solutions for client investment across different asset classes and products for both onshore and offshore investment. The team's coverage is divided among Investment Product Specialists who each covers an asset class namely Equity, Fixed Income, Private Market, Hedge Fund and Derivative. Responsibilities of Derivative Product Specialist (junior) are to assist the team on:
- Oversee and responsible for all aspects of derivatives business in Wealth Management including product selection, product pricing, demand gathering, sales, internal training, and external meetings with clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all derivatives counterparties including global banks, onshore banks, and within Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group
- Produce sales note on derivative product trading ideas
- Collaborate with the Wealth Management's Investment Committee to select investment ideas and products to offer to our clients
- Source derivative products to serve client investment solutions
- Monitor and analyze derivatives market landscape
Qualifications:
- High caliber Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry is a plus
- Highly knowledgeable about financial services and derivatives products
- Experience in derivatives business (e.g., structured products) in the global banks is a plus but not required
- Demonstrate strong organizational and co-ordination skills
- Demonstrated success in meeting business targets
- Ability to adapt quickly and successfully in a dynamic business environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mature and self-confident
