Design Engineer (Control and Instrument) - Eco Plant Services (Bangkok Based)

Job Summary:

Responsible for the engineering design, bidding, commissioning, and project cost control of industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop control systems and instrumentation for power generation processes, including SCADA, PLC, HMI, and DCS.

- Install, configure, inspect, and maintain control systems and instrumentation devices to ensure efficient and safe plant operation.

- Measure system performance, tune automation controls, and analyze data to improve operational efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on automation control and instrumentation systems promptly when faults occur.

- Coordinate with other engineering teams to manage control data, verify accuracy of P&ID, set up Instrument Data Sheets, and support commissioning activities.

- Prepare manuals, technical documentation, daily/monthly reports, inspection checklists, and calibration data records.

- Support testing, validation, and adjustments of control logic in DCS/PLC/HMI systems, including PID tuning and logic modifications.

- Ensure technical readiness and reliability of control and instrumentation systems to achieve continuous, safe, and low-downtime operation.

- Verify that installation and maintenance work complies with industrial/plant safety standards and project specifications.

- Design and Develop IT/CCTV/PAGA/PABX infrastructure for Power Plant.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor&aposs Degree or Higher in Instrumentation Engineering, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. (G.P.A. > 2.70)

- Expertise in SAMA Logic, ISA5.1/ISA5.2, IEC 61131-3 programming, and process/machine automation design, including P&ID knowledge

- Proficiency in control instruments and systems such as PLC, DCS, and IIoT technologies.

- Experience with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE Standards, National Electrical Code)

- Proficiency in design and review tools (e.g., CAD, Drawing viewer)

- Proficiency in DCS platforms (e.g., ABB, YOKOGAWA, EMERSON, SIEMENS)

- Proficiency in PLC platforms (e.g., ABB, AB, SIEMENS, MITSUBISHI)

- Proficient in English. (Good communication skills) (TOEIC > 550)

- Strong interpersonal qualities, including teamwork skills, diligence, perseverance, and a positive attitude

- Candidates with experience in designing biomass, waste-to-energy, or VSPP power plants will be prioritized.
