Responsible for developing standardized automation modules based on Techman Robot (TM Cobot). Modules must be replicable (similar to SMT Pick & Place machines or AOI systems —one design deployed across 10+ sets) and reduce long-term maintenance, service, and repair costs after implementation. Deliver quarterly automation roadmaps and innovative solutions to drive the factory toward IR 5.0, achieving higher automation rates and smart manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Standard Module Design

- Design and develop standardized automation modules based on Techman Robot, covering SMT, testing, assembly, and logistics processes.

- Ensure modules are replicable, enabling one design, multi-line/multi-product usage.

- Modules must comply with PFMEA and include Poka-Yoke (error-proof) features.

- Minimize post-deployment maintenance, service, and repair costs, ensuring long-term reliability.

2. Automation Roadmap & Innovation

- Deliver quarterly automation roadmap with clear project priorities and investments.

- Provide innovative golden ideas to scale standard module deployment within the factory.

- Continuously lead automation upgrades toward IR 5.0.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Standardization

- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to align module design with operational needs.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  2. Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in electrical or electronics engineering, with at least 3-5 years focused on design for automation or manufacturing engineering
  3. Strong knowledge of automation technologies, robotic systems, assembly processes and manufacturing methodologies
  4. Proven experience in designing products for automated manufacturing environments and optimising assembly processes
  5. Proficiency with design software tools such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems and simulation software
  6. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and cost savings opportunities
  8. Excellent communication skills in both English and Thai, with ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  9. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable
