Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled IT Deskside & Network Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support through scheduled weekly visits and additional dispatch-based service requests. The engineer will be responsible for end-user support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and basic to intermediate network support.
Key Responsibilities:1. Scheduled Weekly Support (Every Tuesday):- Perform preventive health checks of IT infrastructure.
- Provide deskside support to end users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-related issues.
- Check network connectivity and resolve LAN-related issues.
- Verify printer, scanner, and peripheral functionality.
- Update incident logs and submit weekly service reports.
2. Dispatch-Based Support (On-Demand):- Respond to urgent onsite technical requests.
- Troubleshoot network outages and connectivity issues.
- Replace faulty hardware components (RAM, HDD, switches, routers, patch cables).
- Support Wi-Fi access points and structured cabling.
- Coordinate with remote IT teams for escalations.
Technical Skills Required:- Strong experience in Windows OS (Windows 10/11) troubleshooting
- Active Directory user management (password reset, account unlock, group policy basics)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Router and switch troubleshooting
- Patch panel and structured cabling support
- Printer configuration and troubleshooting
- MS Office / O365 support
- Remote troubleshooting tools knowledge
