Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Deskside & Network Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support through scheduled weekly visits and additional dispatch-based service requests. The engineer will be responsible for end-user support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and basic to intermediate network support.

Key Responsibilities:1. Scheduled Weekly Support (Every Tuesday):
  • Perform preventive health checks of IT infrastructure.
  • Provide deskside support to end users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-related issues.
  • Check network connectivity and resolve LAN-related issues.
  • Verify printer, scanner, and peripheral functionality.
  • Update incident logs and submit weekly service reports.
2. Dispatch-Based Support (On-Demand):
  • Respond to urgent onsite technical requests.
  • Troubleshoot network outages and connectivity issues.
  • Replace faulty hardware components (RAM, HDD, switches, routers, patch cables).
  • Support Wi-Fi access points and structured cabling.
  • Coordinate with remote IT teams for escalations.
Technical Skills Required:
  • Strong experience in Windows OS (Windows 10/11) troubleshooting
  • Active Directory user management (password reset, account unlock, group policy basics)
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Router and switch troubleshooting
  • Patch panel and structured cabling support
  • Printer configuration and troubleshooting
  • MS Office / O365 support
  • Remote troubleshooting tools knowledge
