Developer (Contract)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications based on requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs provided by the System Analyst/Product Owner.
• Analyze requirements and clarify technical feasibility, assessing system impact and proposing suitable development approaches.
• Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and high‑performance application components using approved technologies.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support system testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with System Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other developers to ensure seamless end‑to‑end delivery.
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and progress tracking, ensuring development tasks meet timelines and quality expectations.
• Diagnose and resolve application defects, identifying root causes and applying corrective actions promptly.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and deployment notes.
• Support deployment activities, including UAT, production rollout, and post‑production monitoring.
• Maintain code quality, following coding standards, best practices, and secure development guidelines.
• Contribute to application monitoring and performance tuning, ensuring system availability and reliability.
• Engage actively in knowledge sharing, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow SLA and operational processes, ensuring timely and accurate responses to assigned incidents and service requests.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience (4+ years) in:
• Java
• Oracle Database
• PostgreSQL
• SOAP/REST API development
• Node.js
• Docker & Kubernetes
• Experience in application development, database design, API integration, and basic understanding of application architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, debugging, and logical-thinking skills.
• Good communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• High attention to detail with commitment to code quality and accuracy.
• Passion for continuous learning and self‑improvement.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in software development.
• Overall 5+ years of IT experience. Telecom domain exposure is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. Master's degree is a plus.

Language Proficiency

• Thai – Native
• English – Good speaking, reading, and writing skills (excellent is a plus)
