Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Director to lead our DevOps strategy, ensuring operational excellence, cost optimization, and business growth. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, including Profit & Loss (P&L) management, presales, project management, and performance management. The ideal candidate will drive infrastructure automation, streamline CI/CD processes, and enhance system reliability while aligning DevOps practices with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, secure, and reliable DevOps architectures and frameworks to support development and deployment activities.
• Design cloud-native and hybrid solutions leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Participate in customer meetings, RFP responses, and technical presentations
• Collaborate with sales and solution engineering teams to support presales activities
• Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of DevOps initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Set and monitor KPIs for DevOps engineers, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Manage and optimize budgets for DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure, and operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through automation, cloud optimization, and vendor negotiations.
• Track and analyse financial performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide financial insights to executive leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Integrate testing, security, and compliance checks into deployment pipelines.
• Architect containerized applications using Docker or Podman.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
• Mentor and guide teams on DevOps best practices and tooling.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure systems meet security, performance, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Required:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
• Solid programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
