DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in enabling engineering teams by building robust platforms to enhance developer productivity, improving automation, and ensuring high availability across environments.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Platform

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Ensure high standards of reliability, security, and observability across all environments.
• Build automation for provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and incident response.
• Operate and improve containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Building internal tools to enhance developer productivity.

Reliability & Operations

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to meet defined SLAs.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, and resilience improvements.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Partner with application, data, and product engineering teams to understand infrastructure needs.
• Contribute to system design discussions and architectural reviews.
• Ensure timely delivery of stable and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions.

Quality & Best Practices

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure and pipelines.
• Write automated tests for infrastructure.
• Drive adoption of best practices for cost optimization and scalability.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Expertise in Terraform / CloudFormation and cloud-native services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Ruby or Java).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems.

Required Skills

• Experience with security, compliance, or cloud cost optimization.
• Exposure to SRE practices and production on-call ownership.
• Background in fintech or transaction-heavy systems.
