About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help develop and support the engineering platforms that underpin modern software delivery.

Working across CI/CD, infrastructure automation, developer tooling, and platform integrations, you will play a key role in improving deployment processes, strengthening governance, and enabling development teams to deliver software more efficiently. This role combines hands-on engineering with platform design and operational support in a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines supporting application teams across the organisation, including pipeline templates for SAR-compliant releases
• Implement and manage Kosli for deployment tracking, change evidence, and compliance trail automation
• Own RBAC design and enforcement across platform tooling - GitLab, Kosli, and connected SaaS products - ensuring least-privilege access aligned to change governance requirements
• Manage SaaS platform hosting for engineering tooling, including availability, upgrades, and capacity planning
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning and platform configuration-as-code
• Lead product integrations between platform tools (GitLab, ServiceNow, Kosli, vulnerability scanners) to enable automated evidence capture and change record creation
• Contribute to source code management standards - branching strategies, MR policies, protected branches, and pipeline enforcement
• Support application teams in adopting platform tooling, providing guidance on pipeline patterns, RBAC configuration, and compliance evidence generation

Essential Experience & Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab - pipelines, CI/CD, source code management, MR workflows, and GitLab API integration
• Practical experience with Kosli or equivalent deployment tracking / change evidence tooling
• Deep understanding of RBAC design and implementation across SaaS platforms and developer tooling
• Experience managing SaaS platform hosting - including upgrades, configuration management, and operational support
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and platform provisioning
• Experience designing and implementing product integrations across DevOps toolchains (webhooks, APIs, pipeline triggers)
• Solid understanding of source code management practices - trunk-based development, release branching, hotfix strategies
• Familiarity with change governance concepts and how pipeline automation supports compliant software delivery

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with deployment tracking or release governance platforms such as Kosli or similar tools.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, security testing, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments.
• Knowledge of container platforms and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide platform engineering initiatives.
