Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8s), cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing production-grade Kubernetes environments and be capable of understanding, troubleshooting, and contributing to the existing application codebase whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure for production workloads.
  • Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand application architecture and deployment requirements.
  • Analyze existing application code and contribute to development whenever necessary.
  • Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery of production environments.
  • Participate in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
  • Strong experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, DNS, SSL, and ingress controllers.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
  • Strong knowledge of Git version control.
  • Ability to understand existing application code and contribute to development when required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
