Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD platforms, pipelines, and workflows to accelerate software delivery.
- Define and enforce DevOps best practices and standards, collaborating closely with Development and Operations teams.
- Partner with development teams to ensure applications are built with scalability, resilience, security, and performance in mind.
- Contribute to system architecture and software development activities, ensuring DevOps principles are embedded throughout.
- Lead and support incident triage, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of production issues.
- Develop automation using coding languages and scripting to streamline operations and workflows.
- Implement and champion DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, propose new solutions, and leverage emerging technologies.
- Drive knowledge sharing with development and operations teams on DevOps tools, platforms, and practices.
Essential Skills & Prerequisites
- 5+ years of proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Nexus, etc.
- Strong knowledge in modern DevOps/SRE tools: ArgoCD, HashiCorp Vault, Cert Manager, Keycloak, Service Mesh, Event-Driven/Streaming platforms, etc.
- Deep experience with Linux operating systems and automation scripting.
- Proficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, Python, Bash, Golang).
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as OpenSearch, Logstash, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, etc.
- Expertise in containerization, Kubernetes, cloud, and virtualization platforms (Docker, CRI-O, AWS, GCP, EKS, OpenShift, VMware, etc.).
- Proven track record with high availability, large-scale, and performance-critical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective collaboration and communication abilities.
