Overview:
An Digital Ad Sales Specialist sells advertising space to clients, identifies their marketing needs, and offers tailored ad solutions. They build client relationships, meet sales targets, and stay current on media trends and audience insights.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted consultant with partners to develop and optimize their channel: responsible for increasing platform usage and content creator adoption of various tools and features.
Detect and understand the customer's needs and objectives.
Knowledge on key platform features to connect the customer's needs to them.
Handle a high volume of potential clients on a daily basis through video calls, email and phone calls.
Portfolio management and prioritization with the ability to detect opportunities and follow up with the content creators over several months.
Requirements:
Preferred Skills and Experience:
BA/BS degree (MA/MSc degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or Journalism can be a plus).
2 years minimum of work experience in sales and/or online advertising/social media.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to pitch on the phone and compose compelling proposals.
