Role Overview
Chengdu Polymer Industry Promotion Council, a non-profit organization guided by Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, covering the southwestern region of China and representing the rubber, plastics, and fiber industries. The Council comprises over 250 enterprise members and 80 academic experts from leading Chinese universities, including Sichuan University.
The Council is seeking a Content Creator Intern (Remote) based in Thailand, China, or Southeast Asia to support international communication and industry outreach. This role focuses on producing high-quality content on China's economy, technology trends, startup and investment policies, and polymer and materials innovation, while assisting with association activities and international member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit content on China's economy, technology trends, startup and investment policy , polymer and advanced materials innovation
- Manage and update content for websites, newsletters, and social media platforms
- Support coverage and prepare summaries of association activities, events, and industry forums, including polymer conferences and Chinese startup meetings etc.
- Assist with communication and coordination with international members and partners
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in International Business, Arts, Communications, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Economics, Journalism, or related fields
- Strong English writing and editing skills
- Interest in China's economy, technology, startup and polymer/materials industries
- Chinese language ability is a plus, but not mandatory (HSK Certificate)
