Description
We are seeking a highly skilled
Digital Forensic Analyst to support law enforcement efforts in the investigation of technology-facilitated crimes, with a particular focus on human trafficking, child exploitation, and related offenses. In this role, you will work closely with law enforcement and other authorized agencies to identify, analyze, preserve, and interpret digital evidence that supports investigative activities and judicial proceedings.
Based in
Bangkok, Thailand the successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in digital forensics and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners dedicated to combating human trafficking and the exploitation of children. This position requires a strong commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and the ability to provide technical expertise in complex and sensitive investigations.
Due to the nature of the work and potential exposure to heavy case material, the successful candidate must demonstrate emotional resilience, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining personal well-being. The ability to practice effective self-care and utilize appropriate wellness resources is essential for long-term success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and practically demonstrate how to identify and extract electronic data from digital devices, including mobile phones, computers, and storage media.
- Demonstrate a high understanding of the use of forums such as social media platforms and messaging applications whilst having an awareness of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT).
- Support field operations in collaboration with law enforcement agencies.
- Ensure the integrity and proper handling of digital evidence (Chain of Custody).
- Utilize the digital forensic tools available to LE partners. This will be advised.
- Understand the concepts of metadata and timeline analysis.
- Work closely with law enforcement as a part of Partner Led investigations.
- Adaptable to fulfil other operational roles that may present.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in digital forensics or cyber investigations.
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS).
- Knowledge of OSINT methodologies and cyber investigation techniques.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- High attention to detail and proven engagement in confidential environments.
- A passion to support the fight to end human trafficking and the exploitation of children.
- Ability to work with compassion and empathy in a team environment.
- Flexibility in approach – no workday will ever be the same!
- Dynamic, adaptable and able to in testing and challenging environments.
- Hands-on experience with tools utilized in the world of Digital Forensics.
- Awareness of network analysis and cybersecurity.
- Experience of interacting with law enforcement agencies.
- Understanding of child exploitation and human trafficking investigations.
- Understanding of the rules of Best Evidence and the chain of custody that relates to physical evidence.
- A high level of written and spoken English is an advantage as the role involves report writing and the potential of wider regional working.
