THE ROLE
Amid rapid, structural change in the logistics and commercial vehicle industry, the company recognizes that operations are becoming increasingly complex and that digital transformation is critical to maintaining its position as a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer. This has created a need for dedicated leadership to turn this strategic direction into measurable execution at the operating company level.
Over the past several years, the company has modernized its IT landscape (moving from physical servers to hybrid cloud and cloud‑native environments). The next phase shifts from IT system transformation to DX as Business Transformation, ensuring that digital initiatives directly strengthen business capabilities, improve efficiency and competitiveness, and support long‑term value creation. The Digital Transformation Manager will lead and coordinate this broader change, extending beyond technology to enterprise execution.
- Lead the planning and execution of DX projects for the company and closely related group companies, under the direction of top management and in collaboration with DX stakeholders from each department.
- Drive DX project success by applying strong business process knowledge, leveraging digital/IT solutions, and demonstrating robust project management and change leadership.
- Develop the DX education plan and help improve digital and IT knowledge and skills across the company.
- Build the DX strategy and contribute to enhancing business capabilities through DX.
- Support management in developing DX projects that create high value-added business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
DX Execution
> DX Planning
- Collect and integrate business requirements from each department in the company
- Coordinate and manage activities for DX from each department.
- Define system requirements based on business requirements and explain them to IT departments.
- Define overall solution architecture.
- Estimate the overall DX project budget and calculate ROI.
> Solution Selection
- Evaluate solution candidates and the pros/cons proposed by IT.
- Consolidate input from relevant stakeholders and support decision-making.
> Execution / Implementation
- Define the integrated DX project plan and manage progress (business and IT), including countermeasures in case of delays.
- Manage and direct tasks for business users (UAT, training, hypercare, etc.).
- Facilitate cross-department discussions to resolve issues and remove blockers.
DX Management
> Organization
- Report DX project plans, progress, and issues/risks to top management, department management, and supervisors.
- Manage subordinates as a team leader (tasks, skills, and evaluation)
> Knowledge & Skill
- Define required digital/IT capability skills across the company to be future-ready.
- Plan and provide digital/IT training to business department PICs.
> Budget
- Manage budget consumption (plan vs. actual).
- Report budget status to management.
> Technology
- Define technology governance policy.
- Manage digital and IT technology to avoid duplication and inefficiency.
EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience
- Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives from strategy planning and development through to implementation, particularly across corporate (back-office) functions within industrial manufacturing companies.
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English
- Bachelor / Master (Business administration, Computer science, Data science)
Technical Expertise
- Knowledge of digital/IT implementation methodologies
- Project management knowledge (PMBOK)
- End-to-end manufacturing business process knowledge (automotive preferred)
- Project management experience in digital tool/IT system implementations
