Digitization Executive – Digital Floor Plans

Smplrspace is an embedded data visualization platform that helps companies and solution providers digitize and visualize indoor spaces at scale. Our proprietary solution turns architectural floor plans and site maps into accurate digital spatial environments, enabling real estate owners and operators to:

• Digitize all assets and indoor coordinates
• Visualize indoor insights across platforms
• Embed spatial data into outdoor maps
• Streamline vendor data into a unified foundation for business intelligence

We operate with a developer‑tool mindset, supporting integrations and spatial workflows for companies building real estate analytics tools and visualization applications.

We're looking for a Digitization Executive to convert architectural floor plans (PDF/DWG) into accurate digital spaces in Smplrspace. This role is ideal for a civil engineer who is strong at reading plan drawings and comfortable doing detailed, accuracy-focused work, and experience in AutoCAD (or similar CAD tools).

Preferred location: Southeast Asia. The role requires overlap with both GMT+8 and GMT+5 time zones. Client-facing experience is a plus.

• Interpret architectural floor plans (PDF, DWG, etc.) and digitize them using Smplrspace tools
• Create structured digital spatial environments from floor plan images and site maps
• Validate scale, dimensions, layout elements such as doors, windows, voids, furniture and equipment ensuring spatial accuracy and layout consistency
• Map entity elements, zones, and indoor coordinates
• Perform quality checks and revisions as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams on visualization & integration requirements
• Support occasional client discussions and technical clarifications

Must Have:

• Background in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience reading and interpreting architectural floor plans across various real estate asset classes
• Experience with digital floor plan software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar
• Strong understanding of drawing fundamentals: scale, dimensioning, symbols, layers, and drafting standards
• Strong spatial reasoning and very high attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients in English
• Availability to have overlap hours with GMT+8 and GMT+5 time zones

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with BIM, FM assets, and equipment represented in drawings
• Comfortable working with technical software environments
• Client-facing experience

Candidates will need stable internet and their own laptop or computer to start, preferably with a monitor.
