Dining & Travel Editor

Tatler Asia Thailand is seeking a dynamic and highly creative Dining & Travel Editor to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping our coverage of Thailand's vibrant dining, bar, hotel, and travel scenes across our print magazine, digital platforms, and social media channels.

The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller with a deep understanding of the luxury lifestyle and hospitality industries. You will not only be an exceptional writer but also a well-connected networker, building and maintaining strong relationships with influential people in the industryfrom leading chefs and mixologists to restaurant, bar, and hotel executives and owners.

This position requires a proactive and collaborative individual who can produce compelling, high-quality content while also playing a key role in supporting the organization of Tatler's signature events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write and contribute engaging articles, features, and reviews on dining, bars, hotels, and travel for Tatler's print magazine and online platforms.
• Social Media Management: Develop and execute a social media strategy for the Dining & Travel verticals, creating content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
• Event Support: Provide essential support in the planning and execution of Tatler events, such as Off Menu and Best of Asia. This includes assisting with guest list management, inviting key industry figures, and contributing content related to the events.
• Industry Networking: Cultivate and maintain a robust network of contacts within the food, beverage, and hospitality industries, including chefs, mixologists, and owners or executives from top restaurants, bars, and hotels.
• Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Tatler Asia, representing the publication at industry events and media functions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in writing and editing, preferably within the luxury, dining, or travel sectors. Experience in dining and travel media will be a strong advantage.
• Exceptional storytelling and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and passion for the dining, bar, hotel, and travel industries in Thailand.
• Strong social media content creation and management skills.
• Excellent networking abilities and a track record of building professional relationships.
• Strong command of both written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in Thai is also required.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
