Job Description
Responsible for developing and implementing Direct Fleet business enhancement strategies for e.g. leading the revamped Go-Fast program. Managing new business streams, new product launches / sources with processes required to support. This will support the Direct Fleet group in achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Distributor Facing Role to support all aspects relating to Global Fleet Sales (US, AP, ME and EU GFS Teams). Need to work covering multiple time zones to support.
- Managing the revamped Go-Fast program with both GFS and receiving distributors / dealers in other markets.
- Engage with external customers / modifiers along with GFS to understand their requirements in terms of products and commercial.
- Support with strategy development of new business and growth opportunities.
- Ensuring smooth launch cadence and processes for new products launched as well as further enhancing current portfolio to meet fleet customers needs and requirements.
- Conduct Product specification analysis sourcing comparisons, evaluation of product requirements and Ford product offering to meet fleet requirements.
- Require full apprehension of Distributor Contract, Rules of Eligibility and Trade Control to support required compliance with Ford Motor Company.
- Liaise with Finance Team to support pricing strategies on products (vehicle pricing & Incentives to grow fleet sales).
- Liaise with various Order Guide Teams (Globally) to ensure donor specifications are available to support GFS requirements.
- Support and help with problem solving on vehicle logistics (vessel planning, shipment routes etc.).
- Support IT Query problem solving related to GFS Workarounds.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ Years in Sales, Marketing and Distributor/Dealer contact in automotive industry.
- Experience in strategy development will be beneficial.
- Experience with Sales (Fleet beneficial), Product/Brand Marketing, Product Development, Portfolio Strategy is highly valued.
- Experience in negotiations is an added advantage.
- Experience in the automotive field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive products and technology.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, obtain support and cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including many departments within the business.
- Good knowledge of product development process.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership skills and team player.
- Able to work and operate independently in a cross cultural and cross functional environment that can be ambiguous and complex
- Strong organization skills, capability to prioritize tasks and ability to work under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Stake Holder Management - Internal & External, Business Communication across levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (Fluency in English).
