Are you a strategic sourcing leader with a passion for international trade and experience managing high-performing teams We're looking for an experienced Direct Import Manager- Non-Food & B2B Business to lead our global sourcing operations and manage a team focused on driving efficiency, quality, and value across our non-food categories.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end direct import process for non-food categories. (Health, GM, HHC & HBC)
- Oversee Stock Clearance and B2B Sales for direct import
- Oversee and mentor a team of sourcing and import specialists, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals and drive cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
- Identify and manage relationships with international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing agreements with global vendors.
- Work cross-functionally with merchandising, logistics, quality assurance, finance, and compliance teams to ensure seamless import operations.
- Monitor international market trends, regulatory changes, and risks to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate disruptions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize internal processes within the import function.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or above in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sourcing/import management, preferably in non-food consumer goods, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs, Incoterms, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with sourcing platforms is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
