Job Description

Role Overview

Lead and govern the Group's enterprise-wide resilience and Health & Safety frameworks, covering Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management, Emergency Preparedness, and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S). Ensure alignment with international standards (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 22361) and hospitality best practices, while driving consistent execution across regions and properties.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Resilience & Crisis Governance:

  • Define and maintain Group-wide BCM and crisis management standards, governance, and minimum requirements
  • Drive annual readiness cycle (planning, training, exercising, and closure tracking)
  • Provide executive insights on resilience posture, risks, and critical gaps

Health & Safety Governance:

  • Establish and oversee Group H&S frameworks across all operating jurisdictions
  • Ensure consistent risk identification, regulatory compliance, and control effectiveness
  • Govern serious incident investigations and systemic corrective actions

Life Safety & Duty of Care:

  • Define Group standards for guest and employee life safety
  • Integrate life safety into crisis preparedness and response frameworks
  • Oversee duty of care and travel risk escalation with cross-functional teams

Assurance & Readiness:

  • Lead enterprise assurance model (audits, exercises, remediation tracking)
  • Validate preparedness through structured testing and evidence-based reviews
  • Escalate material risks and ensure timely closure of findings

Executive Reporting & Decision Support:

  • Deliver integrated dashboards and Board-level reporting (KPIs, KRIs, trends, risks)
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership and Board committees

Security & Threat Intelligence:

  • Define resilience intelligence requirements and coordinate threat inputs
  • Translate intelligence into actionable guidance for operations
  • Maintain consolidated situational awareness across crisis and safety domains

Qualifications

  • More than 10 years of experience in enterprise resilience, BCM, crisis management, and/or Health & Safety across multi-site environments
  • Proven track record in governance, assurance frameworks, and incident management
  • Strong ability to translate operational risks into executive and Board-level insights
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across Operations, HR, Engineering, Risk, and Security
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership
  • Hospitality or service industry experience preferred
