Thai Union Group PCL

Position: Head Of Warehouse Manager (Seafood business)

Level: Director

Work location:Samut Sakhon

Responsibility

  • Plan and manage overall frozen warehouse operations in alignment with production, sales, and export plans.
  • Control inbound and outbound processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and on-time execution.
  • Manage frozen inventory using FIFO / FEFO principles to minimize losses, damages, and expired products.
  • Control and monitor storage temperatures in accordance with defined standards (product - specific requirements).
  • Develop and maintain warehouse systems such as WMS, barcode systems, traceability, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards including GMP, HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000, and Halal (if applicable).
  • Lead and develop warehouse teams, including manpower planning, capability development, and performance evaluation.
  • Control warehouse operating costs such as labor, electricity, maintenance, and logistics expenses.,
  • Coordinate closely with internal functions including Production, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and external partners.
  • Ensure workplace safety, proper use of material handling equipment, and refrigeration systems.
  • Prepare operational reports, analyze issues, and propose continuous improvement initiatives to senior management.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the seafood, food processing, or cold chain industry
  • Proven leadership experience managing large warehouse teams and multi-function operations
  • Strong expertise in cold storage operations, including temperature-controlled environments for industry
  • Solid knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices In-depth understanding of FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles, especially for perishable goods
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety standards, and relevant regulatory compliance (e.g., export/import, food quality requirements)
  • Experience in managing frozen and chilled storage logistics, including handling, storage, and distribution of seafood products
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume, fast-paced operations
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken)

Working Condition

Working day: Mon - Fri and every other Sat

Working hour: 08.00 a.m. – 05.00 p.m. or as specified by the agency

Office location: TU Shrimp Plant A.Muang, Samutsakorn (Near Makro Mahachai)
