Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing financial services organization with strong regional backing, operating at the intersection of insurance, investment, and digital financial solutions. The company focuses on delivering innovative products that combine protection and wealth planning for modern consumers. With a strong push toward digital distribution and ecosystem partnerships, the business has been expanding its presence through collaborations with leading players across banking, fintech, retail, and online platforms. They are looking for a Director of Business Development to lead strategic partnership initiatives and unlock new revenue streams. This role will focus on building and scaling B2B2C partnerships, driving growth through ecosystem collaborations, and turning opportunities into commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand strategic partnerships across key industries such as banking, retail, automotive, digital platforms and etc.
  • Design and negotiate win-win commercial agreements that ensure long-term value creation
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle — from initial sourcing and pitching to execution and activation
  • Work closely with internal teams to customize products and solutions for partner needs
  • Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring strong profitability and sustainable returns
  • Build and maintain a healthy deal pipeline and provide regular performance updates
  • Stay ahead of market trends and identify new distribution and growth opportunities
  • Oversee post-deal execution to ensure partnerships deliver real business impact and revenue

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or corporate sales
  • Background in insurance, banking, or fintech is preferred
  • Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, deal structuring, negotiation, and stakeholder management
  • English communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • A results-driven, proactive individual with a strong commercial mindset
  • Track record in building partnerships and closing high-value deals
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Able to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable results
