About the Role
Lead the development and deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies aligned with the Suspension roadmap. Drive technical strategies by partnering with suppliers to scale innovative concepts into high-volume, robust production systems. Build future-ready manufacturing capabilities while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute manufacturing technology strategies in alignment with business and product roadmap objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to design, build, and deploy high-precision manufacturing equipment.
- Establish strong partnerships with suppliers to co-develop scalable, high-volume production solutions.
- Apply advanced engineering methodologies, including Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, and root cause failure analysis, to optimize KPIs and improve yield.
- Build deep process understanding and ensure process stability, repeatability, and robustness for scalable operations.
- Drive automation integration and ensure seamless interaction between processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with universities and research institutions to explore and implement innovative manufacturing technologies.
- Partner with HR on workforce planning and recruitment strategies to secure critical skills for current and future needs.
- Develop supplier capabilities through training and alignment to meet quality, cost, and lead-time targets.
- Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditures, and resource allocation to meet operational and strategic goals.
Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in advanced manufacturing, process engineering, or technology development
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and complex project
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Expertise in process engineering, automation integration, and equipment development
- Advanced knowledge of Six Sigma and statistical analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making
- Ability to translate technical outcomes into actionable business plans
- Experience in vendor management, negotiation, and strategic partnerships
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and/or software development
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across global teams
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
