Job Summary:
Event Director is responsible for driving business growth through event and brand experience projects. This role's top priority to developing a practical business plan, leveraging networks, and actively acquiring new clients.
The role also oversees key event projects to ensure smooth execution, cost control, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & GI Ownership (Highest Priority)
- Own and deliver annual GI target.
- Build and execute a business plan for events and brand experience projects.
- Actively source new clients using networks and industry connections.
- Lead client meetings, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
Client Management
- Act as the main contact for key clients.
- Understand client budgets and objectives, and propose feasible event solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships to secure repeat business.
Event Project Leadership & Operations
- Oversee planning and execution of: Brand events and launches, Exhibitions, pop-ups, and activations, Meetings & Seminars, Incentive programs, Press events and promotional campaigns
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at required quality level.
Team & Vendor Management
- Manage internal project teams and external vendors.
- Control project costs and manage supplier pricing.
- Ensure smooth on-site operation and problem-solving.
Performance & Growth
- Track project profitability and GI contribution
- Review results and improve future proposals and execution efficiency.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Event Director, Event Project Director, Brand experience, MICE, Experiential marketing.
- Extensive experience from the Event Agency Company, with an understanding of agency-client dynamics and fast-paced project delivery.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale events and multi-functional teams.
- Strong client relationship and business development skills.
- Excellent communication in Thai and English.

- Experience in automotive, technology, or lifestyle sectors.
- Strong understanding of production, vendor management, and budgeting.
- Ability to translate creative ideas into measurable business outcomes.
