The Director of Food & Beverage will lead the overall strategy, operations, and financial performance of all F&B outlets within a luxury hotel environment. This role is responsible for elevating guest experience, driving revenue growth, optimizing operational excellence, and positioning the hotel as a leading culinary destination in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall F&B strategy aligned with the hotel's brand positioning and revenue objectives
- Identify market trends and create innovative dining concepts to maintain competitive advantage
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning
Operations Excellence
- Oversee all F&B outlets including restaurants, bars, banqueting, in-room dining, and events
- Ensure exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction across all touchpoints
- Maintain compliance with hygiene, safety, and brand standards
Financial Management
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization across all outlets
- Monitor P&L performance, implement cost control measures, and maximize GOP
- Optimize pricing strategies and menu engineering to improve margins
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop F&B management teams and frontline staff
- Build a high-performance culture focused on service excellence and accountability
- Oversee workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development
Brand & Guest Experience
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to drive promotions, partnerships, and high-profile events
- Enhance the hotel's reputation as a premium dining and social destination
- Build relationships with key suppliers, VIP guests, and industry partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 10+ years of progressive F&B leadership experience in luxury hotels or upscale hospitality groups
- Strong commercial acumen with proven track record of driving revenue growth
- Deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
