Lead the team to achieve Royal Cliff's vision of becoming an admired hospitality brand, making our Food & Beverage stand out from the rest of the industry. To drive the top line of the Food & Beverage Department in the Hotel while ensuring sustainable and profitable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food & beverage products and services.
- Support career development by training, cross-exposure, task force assignments and transfers.
- Grow talent
- Conduct yearly performance appraisals and provide feedback on their job performance.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times for the department.
- Prepare/consolidate the yearly budget for the department
- Prepare the monthly income statement for each outlet and the department as a whole, and hold the monthly performance meeting with the Food and Beverage team.
- Attend and actively participate in all relevant meetings and training sessions.
- Conduct weekly Food & Beverage meetings.
- Ensure all departmental standard operations manuals are prepared and updated annually.
- Source the best available products, constantly aim to improve quality, and communicate about the products both internally and externally.
- Establish strong partnerships with suppliers and involve them in activities that foster and strengthen working relationships.
- Monitor and continually improve quality and guest satisfaction using the provided tools (Leading Quality Assurance, Customer Satisfaction Survey).
- Maintain an active relationship with the Hotel's marketing team regarding the Hotel's Food & Beverage promotions
- Work with the kitchen team to develop a calendar for an interesting food promotion.
- Collect and analyse data from each restaurant to present to senior management on strategy and future action plans.
- Coordinate with the Chef to ensure that employees are educated and aware of seasonal and new products on the market.
- Continually update senior management on food and beverage trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in the food and beverage management role in a 5* hotel
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, food sciences or a related field or an MBA
- Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
- Good level of English
- Computer literacy adapted to the field of Food & Beverage field
- Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions
- Well organized
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good leadership skills
