Director of Innovation Development Group

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of an integrated digital learning platform from the ground up.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team (50 members) including UX/UI designers, developers, QA, and AI engineers.
• Guide system architecture design to support 200,000+ users, with focus on performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Drive AI adoption using tools such as vector databases, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and cloud AI platforms to personalize learning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with curriculum, pedagogy, strategy, and operations teams.
• Promote Agile delivery, DevSecOps practices, and modern SDLC frameworks.
• Ensure strong data privacy, cybersecurity, and complianceespecially in the EdTech domain.
• Translate educational vision into scalable, measurable innovation aligned with emerging digital trends.
• Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to align technology with business objectives.
• Define and monitor KPIs/OKRs across engineering and product teams to ensure high-impact delivery.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and psychological safety.
• Lead change management during tech/process transformations.

• AI & Data: Modern AI/ML frameworks including vector databases (e.g., Weaviate, Qdrant, FAISS), LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral), orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), cloud AI services (Azure AI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock), and RAG pipelines.
• Infrastructure: Hosted on Huawei Cloud
• CI/CD & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI pipelines
• Security: Integrated DevSecOps with strong emphasis on education data protection

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, digital innovation, or tech transformation.
• 3+ years in senior leadership managing large, cross-functional teams.
• Proven success in building high-availability, large-scale platforms.
• Deep experience with Agile and DevSecOps implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead AI-driven product teams.
• Strategic and hands-on experience with Golang, React.js, Flutter, and cloud-native platforms.
• Strong command of security principles for B2C or EdTech platforms.
• Excellent people management, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder alignment capabilities.
• Experience managing external vendors or distributed/remote teams is a plus.
• Passion for education and a clear vision for EdTech transformation.
• Thai language proficiency preferred but not mandatory.
