Job Description

Strategic & Regional Leadership

  • Develop and execute the APAC operational strategy in alignment with global priorities.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce cost, and improve product quality.
  • Partner closely with global operations, engineering, product, and commercial teams to ensure seamless regional integration.
  • Identify operational risks and implement robust mitigation and continuity plans.

Contract Manufacturing Oversight

  • Provide leadership and oversight for teams supporting a key contract manufacturer in Thailand.
  • Build strong relationships with contract manufacturing leadership, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Monitor and manage performance against SLAs, quality targets, and production timelines.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews to drive accountability and strengthen collaboration.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to global quality, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to optimise workflow and results.
  • Manage production planning, inventory, logistics, and material flow to meet customer needs.
  • Drive improvements in yield, scrap reduction, and cycletime optimisation.

Supply Chain Management

  • Collaborate with global supply chain teams to optimise sourcing, supplier relationships, and logistics efficiency.
  • Assess supply risks across the region and implement strategies for resilience and agility.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all APACproduced goods meet stringent quality and certification standards.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the quality management system.

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop regional operations teams across APAC.
  • Create a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set clear objectives, and support ongoing development.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal HR standards

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of progressive operations leadership experience, including regional APAC manufacturing oversight.
  • Strong background in electronics manufacturing and managing highvalue contract manufacturing partnerships.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and manage complex manufacturing and supply chain environments.
  • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and datadriven operational improvement.
  • Fluent in English; Thai or other APAC languages advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and knowledge of international trade and logistics regulations.
