As Executive Director Retail Operations (Luxury brands), you will shape the performance and culture of a multi-store luxury retail network, ensuring world-class customer experiences, strong commercial results, and operational excellence. You'll lead high-performing teams, elevate client engagement, and ensure every store reflects the highest standards of luxury service and brand storytelling.

Your Impact

You will own the end-to-end retail operation, balancing commercial growth, clienteling excellence, and people leadership. Success in this role is measured by sales growth, customer loyalty, team capability, and consistently exceptional in-store experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Strategy & Business Growth

  • Define and execute a retail strategy aligned with brand vision and business objectives
  • Drive sales growth, profitability, and market expansion across the store network
  • Lead store openings and expansions, ensuring operational readiness and brand consistency
  • Partner with merchandising, marketing, and CRM teams to optimize product performance and in-store execution

Clienteling & Customer Experience

  • Build a deeply client-centric culture that reflects true luxury service standards
  • Lead and embed advanced clienteling strategies to grow long-term, high-value customer relationships
  • Oversee CRM utilization to enable personalized communication, retention, and VIP engagement
  • Champion exclusive events, private appointments, and bespoke experiences

Retail Operations Excellence

  • Ensure operational efficiency across all stores, including inventory, VM, and store flow
  • Own budgeting and P&L management, balancing premium service with cost discipline
  • Track and optimize key KPIs (sales, conversion, retention, productivity, operational efficiency)
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and local regulations

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, inspire, and develop senior retail leaders and store teams
  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability and customer focus
  • Partner with HR on talent acquisition, succession planning, and capability development
  • Drive training initiatives in leadership, clienteling, product knowledge, and luxury service

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, digital, buying, finance, and supply chain teams
  • Align retail execution with brand storytelling and omni-channel strategy
  • Represent the business at relevant industry and stakeholder engagements

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of senior experience in fashion retail operations, managing multi-store networks.
  • Proven success driving sales growth, customer loyalty, and operational excellence
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
  • Hands-on experience with CRM, clienteling strategies, and VIP customer management
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across retail locations

Preferred

  • Background in luxury fashion, jewelry, or premium lifestyle brands
  • Experience working with international clientele
  • Multilingual capability is an advantage
