Avalon Analytics is a leading SaaS provider in the hospitality industry, offering a business intelligence platform specialized in Revenue Management. Headquartered in Bangkok with a growing regional footprint, we help hotels and hospitality groups across Asia unlock their full commercial potential through data-driven insights and real-time analytics.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a commercially sharp and well-connected Director of Sales to lead Avalon Analytics revenue growth across Asia. This is a senior market-ownership role with broad regional scope, covering the Asia region. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the Asian hospitality landscape, an established network across hotel groups and management companies, and a proven ability to close complex, enterprise-level SaaS deals. Based in the region and reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role is central to Avalon Analytics next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Own and execute the Asia sales strategy in alignment with global commercial priorities set by the CCO.

•   Identify, qualify, and close new business with independent hotels, hotel groups, regional chains, and hospitality management companies across Asia.

•   Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior commercial, revenue management, and operations stakeholders at target accounts.

•   Develop a structured, market-by-market pipeline generation approach, including direct outreach, channel partnerships, and regional event representation.

•   Lead the full sales cycle from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation, and contract signature.

•   Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure regional insights inform platform development and go-to-market strategy.

•   Represent Avalon Analytics at key Asian hospitality, travel, and technology events to build brand presence and expand market reach.

•   Deliver regular reporting to the CCO on pipeline health, deal progression, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.

•   Recruit and develop regional sales talent as the Asia business scales.

Qualifications:

•   Proven track record in a senior sales or commercial role within SaaS, hospitality technology, or hotel revenue management and distribution.

•   Established network across Asian hotel groups, management companies, or hospitality industry ecosystems.

•   Deep understanding of hotel commercial operations, revenue strategy, and technology adoption cycles across diverse Asian markets.

•   Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and varied procurement environments.

•   Strong communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.

•   Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving, cross-timezone environment.

•   Fluent English required; proficiency in one or more Asian languages is a strong advantage.

•   Willingness to travel extensively across the region for client engagement and industry events.
