Ever since it was founded in 1931 in Montreux, Switzerland, Clinique La Prairie has established an international reputation as an award-winning destination renowned for delivering the most progressive health and wellbeing programs in an ambience of unparalleled luxury Swiss hospitality.

As part of its international expansion, Clinique La Prairie is opening a luxurious 40-villa Health Resort in Phuket, Thailand, focused on longevity, preventive health, wellness, and science-based wellbeing.

To support the successful pre-opening and commercial development of this exceptional destination, we are looking to recruit our new: Director of Sales

DEFINITION OF THE FUNCTION AND MISSION

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing the sales strategy for Health Resort by Clinique La Prairie, Phuket.

This role is central to the commercial success of the resort, from the pre-opening phase through to full operational launch. The Director of Sales will drive revenue generation, build strong market presence, develop strategic partnerships, and position the resort as one of Asia's leading luxury longevity and wellness destinations.

The position requires a highly experienced sales leader with a strong network in ultra-luxury hospitality, medical wellness, premium travel, lifestyle, and High-Net-Worth client segments.

The Director of Sales will work closely with the General Manager, Corporate Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Reservations, Medical, Wellness, and Operations teams to ensure a strong and consistent commercial approach.

PRIMARY MISSION

The primary mission of the Director of Sales is to:

  • Build and implement the full sales strategy for the resort.
  • Drive revenue growth across all priority markets and sales channels.
  • Develop strong relationships with luxury travel partners, key accounts, private networks, and premium referral sources.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into confirmed business.
  • Establish a solid commercial pipeline before the opening.
  • Position Health Resort by Clinique La Prairie, Phuket as a leading destination for longevity, wellness, preventive health, and luxury hospitality.
  • Represent the brand with excellence, discretion, and credibility in all markets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy for the pre-opening and post-opening phases.
  • Identify key target markets, client segments, and business opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth through direct sales, B2B partnerships, luxury travel networks, and premium referral channels.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads and convert them into confirmed business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client expectations.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and commercial recommendations.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Develop strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, concierge services, private clubs, family offices, medical tourism partners, and premium lifestyle communities.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with key local, regional, and international accounts.
  • Organize regular sales trips to develop potential markets.
  • Plan and execute familiarization visits, private presentations, networking events, and partner meetings.
  • Represent the resort in selected luxury, wellness, and travel industry events.

Pre-Opening Sales Activation

  • Lead all sales-related pre-opening activities.
  • Build market awareness before the official opening.
  • Prepare sales tools, presentations, commercial materials, and partner communication.
  • Create a structured database of prospects, agencies, partners, and key accounts.
  • Support the implementation of CRM processes, sales tracking, and follow-up standards.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Reservations, Revenue, Medical, Wellness, and Operations teams.

Client & Brand Representation

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Clinique La Prairie and its longevity philosophy.
  • Ensure all commercial interactions reflect the highest standards of luxury, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Understand the expectations of High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client journey from first contact to arrival.
  • Build long-term trust and loyalty with clients, partners, and referral sources.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team once established.
  • Set clear objectives and monitor sales performance.
  • Promote a proactive, client-focused, and results-driven sales culture.
  • Ensure the team has strong product knowledge and understands CLP's positioning.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of future sales team members.

REQUIRED PROFILE

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience.
  • Strong background in ultra-luxury hospitality, premium medical tourism, executive wellness resorts, high-end anti-aging/cosmetics, or luxury lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven track record in achieving ambitious sales and revenue targets.
  • Established network with High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals or related business sources.
  • Experience managing complex multi-channel sales environments, including:
  • High-end B2C direct sales
  • Luxury B2B partnerships
  • Concierge services
  • Private clubs
  • High-end travel designers
  • Premium wellness or health-related distribution channels
  • Experience in pre-opening projects would be a strong advantage.
  • Previous experience in Thailand, Asia, or international luxury markets would be highly valued.

  • Additional languages such as Mandarin, Russian, Arabic, or French would be an asset.
