Job Description

This is a key role in shaping the brand future of the company and presents an opportunity for quick advancement in a rapidly growing company. As part of a fast-paced global sales and sponsorship team at ONE Championship, you will be responsible for driving commercial partnerships across the ONE group - analysis and business development of potential brands and organizations to secure ongoing sales and partnership deals.

Responsibilities

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand client base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop long term strategic deals that re-shape the current business needs and product
  • Partner with clients and brands to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Identify key trends in business sectors advertising and marketing strategies and provide solutions and strategy
  • Analyse and utilise category data to aid in pitches and proposals

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong local market business knowledge, contacts and extensive Rolodex is crucial
  • Able to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to end
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, pitching and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently with strong decision-making abilities
  • A background in Sports Marketing or Sponsorship Sales
  • Media sales background or a history of working with media agencies would be a plus
  • Willing to travel when required
