What you'll do:
Management track: supervises day-to-day activities of a team of professionals who purchase goods, materials and services that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing and reliability of supply. May work globally.
Specialist track: handles larger suppliers/more complex purchasing areas/acts as a senior manager. May work globally.
In detail, you will:
- Structure and manage relationships with local and overseas suppliers
- Manage and interact with internal counter parts on local and Global based (such as Quality, Supply chain, R&D and Finance organizations)
- Implement 18 months purchasing plan incorporating cost down activities, negotiations or cost reduction proposals
- Review and approve sourcing board following Purchasing Directive and company policy
- Perform variance analysis and approval in local Rayong system in collaboration with the Global Procurement team
- Identify, evaluate, and develop alternate competitive sources to create negotiation leverage
- Negotiate with current vendors to improve purchasing / procurement conditions
- In cases where resourcing is necessary to achieve optimal purchasing / procurement conditions, mobilize resources, coordinate, lead and ensure success of transition
- Ensure for new vendors that terms & conditions are established, acceptable and agreed upon contractually
- Resolve commercial disagreement to Electrolux best advantage without disrupting supply
- Measure, communicate, and use supplier's quality performance and cost improvement performances to drive continuous improvement
- Manage OPI & DME activities that guarantee yearly cost reduction KPI is maintained as well as long term cost reduction activities
- Optimize the purchasing Organization to achieve the purchasing target
- Manage all of projects launched with qualified quality, on time delivery & best Direct Material
Qualifications:
- University Degree
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Purchasing management in international work environment
- Good English communication

- Economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
