The eDiscovery Technical Specialist provides specialized technical support and expertise to ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of IT systems. Responsibilities
- Provide specialized and advanced technical support for IT systems, applications, and environments. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to system performance, security incidents, and operational disruptions.
- Support Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) activities by assisting with technical analysis, evidence handling, and system diagnostics, as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT Operations, Security, and Production teams) to ensure smooth and secure day-to-day system operations.
- Implement and support technical solutions to enhance system reliability, operational efficiency, and incident response readiness.
- Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
- Participate in project-based activities, contributing to end-to-end delivery, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in Digital Forensics, Incident Response (DFIR), eDiscovery Operations, eDiscovery Client Services, Litigation Support, or Cybersecurity Operations.
- Strong understanding of the EDRM lifecycle, forensic evidence handling, and data management best practices.
- Solid knowledge of digital forensics methodologies, forensic analysis concepts, and incident response processes.
- Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery, operational activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-focused mindset with proven experience managing client and stakeholder relationships. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are preferred.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment, including extended periods of sitting or standing and regular use of computer equipment.
