Environmental Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our site-based MEP Project Management team supporting the a Data Center project in Chonburi. Working as part of the client-side project management structure, you will help drive the safe, coordinated and timely delivery of the electrical works through construction and construction closeout.
This is a hands-on project delivery role for an engineer who can combine sound electrical knowledge with disciplined coordination, progress monitoring and clear reporting. You will work closely with the MEP Manager, Senior Electrical Engineer, mechanical team, contractors, consultants, suppliers and specialist vendors.

Your Role
You will provide project-management and technical support for the electrical construction works, helping the team identify risks early, resolve interfaces, maintain reliable progress information and bring outstanding items to closure. The role supports project delivery and does not replace the contractor's responsibility for design, quality control, safety, testing, commissioning, statutory compliance or construction execution.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management and coordination of electrical construction activities on site.
- Monitor contractor performance and electrical progress against the approved construction programme and short-term lookahead plans.
- Identify delays, blockers, technical risks, access constraints and sequencing issues, and escalate matters requiring management action.
- Monitor manpower, material and equipment delivery, installation progress and readiness of work fronts.
- Support implementation of project procedures, communication protocols, action tracking and reporting requirements.
- Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, material submissions and supporting technical documents when requested, for project-management and coordination purposes.
- Monitor the general progress, coordination and apparent technical compliance of electrical installations against available drawings, specifications and project information.
- Identify and report incomplete work, apparent non-conformances, poor workmanship, constructability concerns and emerging technical risks for action by the responsible party.
- Support follow-up and closeout of site observations, NCRs, defects and outstanding electrical works without assuming the contractor's QA/QC duties.
- Apply practical knowledge of data-center electrical systems, including utility and standby power, HV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, batteries, PDUs or busway, earthing, lightning protection, lighting and emergency power interfaces.
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, structural and civil packages.
- Review spatial requirements, equipment access, maintainability, installation sequencing and electrical room readiness.
- Coordinate builder's-work requirements such as penetrations, sleeves, supports, plinths, trenches, openings and access provisions.
- Support resolution of drawing, clash, constructability and site coordination issues with contractors, nominated subcontractors, suppliers and specialist vendors.
- Maintain focus on package interfaces and ensure electrical actions have clear owners, due dates and closeout evidence.
- Prepare accurate weekly electrical progress updates and contribute to monthly MEP reports.
- Maintain or support electrical issue, action, RFI, submission, approval and constraint trackers.
- Highlight critical-path activities, programme slippage and practical recovery actions to the MEP Manager.
- Attend MEP coordination, site progress, technical, design coordination, contractor and vendor interface meetings, and close assigned actions promptly.
What you will bring
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least four years of relevant electrical construction, project engineering or site coordination experience on complex building-services projects.
- Experience with data centers, mission critical facilities, industrial facilities or other high-availability projects is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution, standby power, UPS systems, earthing, lighting and multidisciplinary MEP interfaces.
- Experience reviewing drawings, technical submissions, method statements, material submissions, RFIs, NCRs and progress records.
- Ability to read programmes, interpret progress information and turn site observations into clear actions and reports.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with a practical and accountable working style.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and common project document-control or collaboration platforms.
- Good written and spoken English; Thai language capability is advantageous.
- A Thai professional engineering licence or other relevant professional registration is advantageous but not essential unless required by the final appointment.
