HP Print Operations Inkjet Platform Engineering team provides the end-to-end Engineering leadership to our Manufacturing Partners, Research & Development Labs and Global Business Units to enable manufacturing solutions for delivering timely New Product Introduction (NPI) to market and ensuring robust product quality to achieve great Customer Experiences.
We are seeking a passionate Production Electronics Engineer to join HP's Inkjet Printer Manufacturing team. This role focuses on electronics and process engineering within our Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) operations, supporting the design, assembly, and quality of PCA (Printed Circuit Assembly) boards and electronic modules used in HP printers. You will be part of a cross-functional manufacturing team, working closely with process engineers, quality engineers, and production partners to ensure that HP's world-class printing technology meets our high standards of performance and reliability.
This role is on-site at the HP ODM factory in Phetchaburi, with working days from Monday to Friday. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and drive process improvement initiatives for PCA and electronics assembly lines to enhance quality, yield, and efficiency.
- Oversee production line layout, testing procedures, and assembly processes to ensure compliance with HP printer product requirements.
- Support PCA board manufacturing, including In-Circuit Test (ICT), component verification, and electronic functional testing.
- Collaborate with mechanical (ME), process, and quality teams to resolve production challenges and implement engineering solutions.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify root causes of process variation and drive continuous improvement actions.
- Work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers (e.g., Cal-Comp) to align production quality and testing standards.
- Provide technical expertise related to smart board, ink firing control, and electronic sensor management within HP inkjet platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 15 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCA process, or production engineering preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ICT testing, electronics assembly, or process optimization is an advantage.
- New graduates are also welcome.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Good communication skills in both Thai and English.
